Today’s the last day of the Romania trng camp “talent identification programme” that’s what they call it …
Time FLIES! Its been 2 weeks [; Its nice knowing people from other countries like Columbia , Kenya , Chile , Philippines , Romania , Armenia , Turkey , Cook Islands , Algeria , Thailand , egypt and korea… The guys always laugh at the Korea coach because of the way he speaks… he speaks in Korean and super fast like 87976756&%^&$^$%... HAHAH .. so everyone will be laughing away when shouts…
Did a 2km timetrial this morning at 6.45min . I hit 10.26min with a turn , Nut hit like 9.47min . I lost to her after the 1000m mark when I caught weeds at my rudder …. So sadddd ….but its alright .
10.15 we did a 4 x 100m and 4 x 50m .. eh , after this I cant paddle with Nut , I can only meet her in competitions … no fun … its nice trng with her although I always lose to her …. But I improve faster …. She ‘s the fastest canoeist in Thailand . cool right??hahahs
Anddd I just found out that ALVIN ( Philippine) HAS A TWIN . hahahs . also kayaking , they look alike[;
We left the trng camp site in a hurry and I have not packed my bag so have to skip lunch to pack my stuff . haha . we took 3 hours to get to another trng camp which we will be sleeping at for one night ( snagov) we will be leaving for Moscow at 8 plus in the morning tmr …
By the way , the guys played soccer just now… damn cool , I think they are good .. especially the turkey guys . but their kicks spoil the fences … it broken ….and we walked back with mustafah( Egypt) just now cos he stay with us , not in the same room but the same block . about 10 minutes walk … AND ITS SUPERRRRR DARK …. We cant see anything like really nothing ….
With the light from , we can only see the road 2m infront of us and the others is pitch dark ….. like wth … and mustafah kept spouting nonsense . hahahs I think just to make some noise . hahahahs ….then we were like THIS IS THE LAST TIME !!!! hahahas
Eh , and just now i did something VERY STUPID ! I went to the second level and wanted to jump down …. Then Brandon came and apparently he locked me outside so I guess I have to jump down …. But its not that he made me jump , its that I think its will be fun … oh whatever … yar … I knew my bag (cameras and video cam) would be a hindrance but I put it anywhere so I had to jump with it …AND GUESS WHAT , I jumped down without thinking how should I land so MY BAG GOT HOOKED AT THE METAL( where rain water flows) but of cos my weight pull it out and I LANDED ON MY BUTTT! Cos the ground was damn sandy ….. like wth … MY BUTT IS DAMN PAIN AND I THINK ITS GOING TO SWELL …. There’s also a freaking cut on my palm …. But still I don’t think I regretted doing that… I just hope I can paddle properly …. The world juniors is like next week? TeeheeeTuesday
We left Romania today… and reached Moscow at like 5 plus and we are only in our hotel at 8 plus …
Its nice to see everyone from Singapore … the hotel here is 1000 times better than the ones in Romania and the food here is better too…
But I don’t really like it here , it gives me the feeling that I am going back to Singapore and I have been escaping from the fact that I have to go back and continue studying … I have not been studying and thinking about studying because I cant face it . the amount of work that is waiting for me is making me want to cry… I don’t know what to do …
I love it in Romania where I can train with all my might , focus on trng and paddle my life to its fullest everyday … this is when I will feel happiest … although all the facilities there are not very good , food not very nice , lake has a lot of weeds , lousy internet but I like it over there … the ulu place , its where I will feel the most relax . A place where there is no pressure …I don’t really like it here , the very modern place makes the pressure overwhelming plus everyone is studying , I DON’T LIKE IT !
You know I was sooo happy when I saw Andray(princess) , valdimier and velancia just now… the Romania feeling is back … it makes me really happy to see them … although I don’t like it when natapol disturb me but I like it when he is there to make the place more lively .It would be great if the Philippines are here( jeremire and Alvin) they are real nice people . I enjoy the stay with all of them there…unlike now , so what if we have good bad and 2 person per room … I feel lonely … when we are in Romania my room will always b filled with laughter and nut will always be in the room no matter what so the room wont be empty….Wednesday
I went to the race site for trng today[;
The race course is super straight ! I don’t really know how to see their buoys cos there are buoys every few metres ( small ones ) …. But there is a 250m , 500m and 750m mark . Their lanes stretch all the way from 0m to 2000m and from lane 1 to lane 9 …
I walked all the way to the 1000m mark , quite interesting , there are these staircase and a platform every 200m for people to have a better view . cool macritchie does not have it … hahas …
My boat did not come yet so I had to use Daniel’s boat when I train so we took turns . In the morning I made my accreditations then reached the lake at 9 plus and I only paddled at like 11? It’s a half an hour ride from the hotel to the lake … quite trouble and the bus comes at a 1 hour interval ….
It is possible for me to reach the footrest for daniel’s boat but the boat is Heavy …. I cant increase my frequency just now during trng … its like wow …. So heavy … then when Brian tried the boat he almost capsize cos the boat is too light for him . When he pull the first stroke he was like WOAH … hahahs
I feel super slack today …. I did like 2 km 80% , 2 km ( 70% 250m and 90% 250m) , 1km warm down …. And …. 5 x 3min ( 1st , 3rd , 5th 70% , 2nd and 4th --- 70% , 80% , 90% everymin ….)
I took lane 9 for all my sets cos I will be in lane 9 during the race …. cool
Had dinner and nothing elseeee[;
